This artwork by Daniel Gardner achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in July 2021. In the Old Master and British Drawings and Watercolours including a Fine Collection of Old Master Prints auction, the work Portrait of Jonas Langford Brooke (c.1758-1784), small full-length, in red coat, with a spaniel sold for GBP 68,750.00 (€ 80,623.63) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Daniel Gardner have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait Of Mary Whitbread, Later Lady Grey (1770-1858) in July 2015 with an auction result of GBP 233,000.00 (€ 330,315.74).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Daniel Gardner erzielte im Juli 2021 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis.
