Upper estimate price exceeded by 39 %.
The work Untitled (Triptych), from Sequences by Dan Flavin was auctioned at Phillips in London in January last year. It achieved a price of GBP 2,772.00 (€ 3,322.59), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 39%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Dan Flavin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Alternate Diagonals Of March 2, 1964 (To Don Judd) in May 2014 with an auction result of USD 3,077,000.00 (€ 2,255,865.10).
