The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Alternate Diagonals Of March 2, 1964 (To Don Judd) in May 2014 with an auction result of USD 3,077,000.00 (€ 2,255,865.10).

Die Arbeit Sails 19 (of April 12, 1974) von Dan Flavin wurde im Januar 2024 in der Auktion Evening & Day Editions bei Phillips in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 1.270,00 (€ 2.125,55) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 59%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Dan Flavin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Alternate Diagonals Of March 2, 1964 (To Don Judd) im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 3.077.000,00 (€ 2.255.865,10).
