The work Visiting Friends In The Mountains by Dai Benxiao was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2016. It achieved a price of HKD 2,480,000.00 (€ 279,409.14), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 65%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Dai Benxiao; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Travel Inspiration Of Mount Huangshan sold at auction in March 2017 with the realized price of USD 396,500.00 (€ 370,630.02).

Die Arbeit Visiting Friends In The Mountains von Dai Benxiao kam im April 2016 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 2.480.000,00 (€ 279.409,14) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 65%. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Dai Benxiao; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Travel Inspiration Of Mount Huangshan im März 2017 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 396.500,00 (€ 370.630,02).
