Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Dai Benxiao achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2021. In the Fine Classical Chinese Paintings auction, the work Landscape sold for HKD 2,016,000.00 (€ 215,844.39) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 700,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Dai Benxiao; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Travel Inspiration Of Mount Huangshan sold at auction in March 2017 with the realized price of USD 396,500.00 (€ 370,630.02).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Dai Benxiao erzielte im April 2021 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings wurde die Arbeit Landscape für HKD 2.016.000,00 (€ 215.844,39) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 700.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Dai Benxiao; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Travel Inspiration Of Mount Huangshan im März 2017 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 396.500,00 (€ 370.630,02).
