In May 2006 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Landscape by Dai Benxiao. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 66,000.00 (€ 6,629.32), 32% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Dai Benxiao achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Travel Inspiration Of Mount Huangshan in March 2017 with an auction result of USD 396,500.00 (€ 370,630.02).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 32 % übertroffen
Im Mai 2006 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Landscape von Dai Benxiao zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 66.000,00 (€ 6.629,32) und damit 32% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Dai Benxiao erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Travel Inspiration Of Mount Huangshan im März 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 396.500,00 (€ 370.630,02).
