Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Playing Chess in the Woods by Dai Benxiao was sold in the Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2014. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 300,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 325,000.00 (€ 30,736.80). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Dai Benxiao achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Travel Inspiration Of Mount Huangshan in March 2017 with an auction result of USD 396,500.00 (€ 370,630.02).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Playing Chess in the Woods von Dai Benxiao wurde im Mai 2014 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 300.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 325.000,00 (€ 30.736,80) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Dai Benxiao erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Travel Inspiration Of Mount Huangshan im März 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 396.500,00 (€ 370.630,02).
