signed Ying'a shan laoqiao Benxiao, dated the first day of the eighth lunar month of the year jiachen (September 20, 1664), inscribed with a poem, and with three seals of the artist, ben xiao, zi wu, po qin, and two seals of the collector Cheng Qi, ke an jian shang, gu xi cheng shi zhen cang.

The work Landscape by Dai Benxiao was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in March 2012. It achieved a price of USD 290,500.00 (€ 217,864.11), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 16%. Other works by Dai Benxiao have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 396,500.00 (€ 370,630.02) in March 2017 for the work Travel Inspiration Of Mount Huangshan.
