Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In July 2018 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Art Online, which included the work Art Rotterdam by Daan van Golden. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,200.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,401.52). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Daan van Golden achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Schilderij 1964 Recht van Voren Gezien (Painting 1964 Seen Directly from the Front) in November 2016 with an auction result of EUR 266,500.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juli 2018 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Contemporary Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Art Rotterdam von Daan van Golden zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 1.200,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.250,00 (€ 1.401,52) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Daan van Golden erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Schilderij 1964 Recht van Voren Gezien (Painting 1964 Seen Directly from the Front) im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 266.500,00.
