Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Cli-Che by D*Face was auctioned at Bonhams in New York in December 2021, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for USD 637.50 (€ 563.26). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by D*Face achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Drowning In Sorrow - 2011 in December 2017 with an auction result of EUR 36,400.00.
