Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Monolith - 2012 by D*Face was sold in the Urban & Pop Contemporary auction at Artcurial in Paris in July 2021. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 17,615.00 17% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by D*Face - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Drowning In Sorrow - 2011, which sold at auction in December 2017 for EUR 36,400.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Monolith - 2012 von D*Face wurde im Juli 2021 in der Auktion Urban & Pop Contemporary bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 17.615,00 und damit 17% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von D*Face mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Drowning In Sorrow - 2011 beobachtet, die im Dezember 2017 für EUR 36.400,00 versteigert wurde.
