Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (Pope) - 2005 by D*Face was auctioned at Artcurial in Paris in December 2020. The price achieved of EUR 10,400.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by D*Face - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Drowning In Sorrow - 2011, which sold at auction in December 2017 for EUR 36,400.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Pope) - 2005 von D*Face kam im Dezember 2020 bei Artcurial in Paris zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 10.400,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von D*Face mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Drowning In Sorrow - 2011 beobachtet, die im Dezember 2017 für EUR 36.400,00 versteigert wurde.
