The work More Punk Than You Punk (Fluorescent Pink) by D*Face was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in September 2020. It achieved a price of HKD 6,300.00 (€ 693.55), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 58%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by D*Face achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Drowning In Sorrow - 2011 in December 2017 with an auction result of EUR 36,400.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 58 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit More Punk Than You Punk (Fluorescent Pink) von D*Face kam im September 2020 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 6.300,00 (€ 693,55) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 58%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von D*Face erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Drowning In Sorrow - 2011 im Dezember 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 36.400,00.
