Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Holy Trinity With An Archangel Freeing Slaves by Corrado Giaquinto was auctioned at Sothebys in London in July 2010. The price achieved of GBP 103,250.00 (€ 124,146.49) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Corrado Giaquinto - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Maria Immaculata mit dem Propheten Elias., which sold at auction in March 2008 for CHF 408,000.00 (€ 260,185.51).

Die Arbeit The Holy Trinity With An Archangel Freeing Slaves von Corrado Giaquinto kam im Juli 2010 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 103.250,00 (€ 124.146,49) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Corrado Giaquinto mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Maria Immaculata mit dem Propheten Elias. beobachtet, die im März 2008 für CHF 408.000,00 (€ 260.185,51) versteigert wurde.
