Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of USD 5,040.00 (€ 4,565.22) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Cornell Capa - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Bolshoi Ballet School, Moscow, which sold at auction in October 2015 for USD 11,250.00 (€ 10,188.37).
