However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Cornelis Vreedenburgh - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Loosdrechtse Plassen, which sold at auction in June 2001 for NLG 99,875.00 (€ 48,004.59).

Die Arbeit The Royal Palace and the Nieuwe Kerk on the Dam, Amsterdam von Cornelis Vreedenburgh kam im Juli 2020 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 20.000,00 (€ 22.308,48) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 67%. Für andere Arbeiten von Cornelis Vreedenburgh mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Loosdrechtse Plassen beobachtet, die im Juni 2001 für NLG 99.875,00 (€ 48.004,59) versteigert wurde.
