It achieved a price of EUR 5,000.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 43 %. Admittedly, works by Cornelis Vreedenburgh have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Loosdrechtse Plassen in June 2001 with an auction result of NLG 99,875.00 (€ 48,004.59).

Die Arbeit Boats in a canal, Amsterdam von Cornelis Vreedenburgh wurde im September 2012 in der Auktion Nineteen to Now, incl. Topographical Observations bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 5.000,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 43 %. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Cornelis Vreedenburgh auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Loosdrechtse Plassen im Juni 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von NLG 99.875,00 (€ 48.004,59).
