Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work A view on the Geldersekade with the Nieuwmarkt in the distance, Amsterdam by Cornelis Vreedenburgh was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in June 2017. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 12,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 12,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Cornelis Vreedenburgh - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Loosdrechtse Plassen, which sold at auction in June 2001 for NLG 99,875.00 (€ 48,004.59).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit A view on the Geldersekade with the Nieuwmarkt in the distance, Amsterdam von Cornelis Vreedenburgh kam im Juni 2017 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 12.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 12.500,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Cornelis Vreedenburgh mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Loosdrechtse Plassen beobachtet, die im Juni 2001 für NLG 99.875,00 (€ 48.004,59) versteigert wurde.
