Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Bij den Dijk; farmhouse near the river IJssel by Cornelis Vreedenburgh was sold in the Impressionist and Modern Art auction at Christies in Amsterdam in June 2012. The price achieved of EUR 3,750.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Cornelis Vreedenburgh achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Loosdrechtse Plassen in June 2001 with an auction result of NLG 99,875.00 (€ 48,004.59).

Die Arbeit Bij den Dijk; farmhouse near the river IJssel von Cornelis Vreedenburgh wurde im Juni 2012 in der Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 3.750,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Cornelis Vreedenburgh erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Loosdrechtse Plassen im Juni 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von NLG 99.875,00 (€ 48.004,59).
