Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 9.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 9.375,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Cornelis Vreedenburgh auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Loosdrechtse Plassen im Juni 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von NLG 99.875,00 (€ 48.004,59).
