In the The House Sale auction, the work Peaches, grapes, a melon, and a pineapple with peonies in an urn on a ledge sold for USD 33,460.00 (€ 26,894.94) - well above the upper estimate of USD 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Cornelis van Spaendonck have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Flower Still Life With Roses, Tulips, Peonies And Other Flowers In A Vase in October 2006 with an auction result of EUR 114,000.00.
