Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2002 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings, which included the work Playfull kittens by Cornelis Raaphorst. The price achieved of EUR 3,824.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Cornelis Raaphorst have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Bird Cage in October 2006 with an auction result of EUR 15,600.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2002 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Playfull kittens von Cornelis Raaphorst zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 3.824,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Cornelis Raaphorst auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Bird Cage im Oktober 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 15.600,00.
