Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

Here, the upper estimate of USD 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 8,125.00 (€ 7,283.73). Admittedly, works by Cornelia Parker have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Alter Ego (Mutiny) in July 2015 with an auction result of GBP 32,500.00 (€ 46,074.08).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Wedding Ring Drawing von Cornelia Parker wurde im Oktober 2019 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Online | New York bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 8.125,00 (€ 7.283,73) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Cornelia Parker auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Alter Ego (Mutiny) im Juli 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 32.500,00 (€ 46.074,08).
