Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Consuelo Kanaga could be acquired at Phillips in New York in October 2021 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Photographs auction, the work Harvey Zook changed hands for USD 2,520.00 (€ 2,181.44) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Consuelo Kanaga achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Profile of a Young Girl from the Tennessee Series in April 2019 with an auction result of USD 106,250.00 (€ 94,857.60).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Consuelo Kanaga konnte im Oktober 2021 bei Phillips in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Photographs wechselte die Arbeit Harvey Zook für USD 2.520,00 (€ 2.181,44) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Consuelo Kanaga erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Profile of a Young Girl from the Tennessee Series im April 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 106.250,00 (€ 94.857,60).
