Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Seascape by Konstantin Alexandrovich Westchilov was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in May 2014. Here, the upper estimate of USD 15,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 16,250.00 (€ 11,913.49). Admittedly, works by Konstantin Alexandrovich Westchilov have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Afternoon Sun, Crimea in November 2011 with an auction result of GBP 79,250.00 (€ 92,516.26).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Seascape von Konstantin Alexandrovich Westchilov kam im Mai 2014 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 15.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 16.250,00 (€ 11.913,49) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Konstantin Alexandrovich Westchilov auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Afternoon Sun, Crimea im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 79.250,00 (€ 92.516,26).
