Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2014 a collector was able to acquire the work Snowy Mountainscape by Konstantin Alexandrovich Westchilov for GBP 3,750.00 (€ 4,685.45). This price was achieved in the auction Russian Art Day Sale at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Konstantin Alexandrovich Westchilov achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Afternoon Sun, Crimea in November 2011 with an auction result of GBP 79,250.00 (€ 92,516.26).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2014 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Snowy Mountainscape von Konstantin Alexandrovich Westchilov für GBP 3.750,00 (€ 4.685,45) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Russian Art Day Sale bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Konstantin Alexandrovich Westchilov erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Afternoon Sun, Crimea im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 79.250,00 (€ 92.516,26).
