In June 2016 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Pictures, which included the work Capri by Konstantin Alexandrovich Westchilov. The result of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 6,001.63) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Konstantin Alexandrovich Westchilov achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Afternoon Sun, Crimea in November 2011 with an auction result of GBP 79,250.00 (€ 92,516.26).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im Juni 2016 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Capri von Konstantin Alexandrovich Westchilov zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 6.001,63) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Konstantin Alexandrovich Westchilov erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Afternoon Sun, Crimea im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 79.250,00 (€ 92.516,26).
