Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Spring Thaw by Konstantin Alexandrovich Westchilov was sold in the Russian Pictures auction at Sothebys in London in June 2021. The price achieved of GBP 13,860.00 (€ 16,150.50) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Admittedly, works by Konstantin Alexandrovich Westchilov have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Afternoon Sun, Crimea in November 2011 with an auction result of GBP 79,250.00 (€ 92,516.26).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Spring Thaw von Konstantin Alexandrovich Westchilov wurde im Juni 2021 in der Auktion Russian Pictures bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 13.860,00 (€ 16.150,50) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Konstantin Alexandrovich Westchilov auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Afternoon Sun, Crimea im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 79.250,00 (€ 92.516,26).
