Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Conrad Marca-Relli could be acquired at Phillips in New York in June this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Editions & Works on Paper auction, the work Multiple A; Multiple B; Multiple C; Multiple D; and Untitled changed hands for USD 1,270.00 (€ 1,163.00) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Conrad Marca-Relli achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work St. Cyprian's Day in May 2008 with an auction result of USD 1,105,000.00 (€ 710,154.24).
