Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Black Board 2 L-L-1-84 by Conrad Marca-Relli was sold in the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, Morning Session auction at Phillips in New York in June 2021. The price achieved of USD 100,800.00 (€ 85,077.65) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Admittedly, works by Conrad Marca-Relli have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work St. Cyprian's Day in May 2008 with an auction result of USD 1,105,000.00 (€ 710,154.24).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Black Board 2 L-L-1-84 von Conrad Marca-Relli wurde im Juni 2021 in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, Morning Session bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 100.800,00 (€ 85.077,65) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Conrad Marca-Relli auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit St. Cyprian's Day im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.105.000,00 (€ 710.154,24).
