Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Wood from the Sahara (Still Life with Cutting Board) by Claudio Bravo was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in May last year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 100,800.00 (€ 93,933.46) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Claudio Bravo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Red Paper in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 1,385,000.00 (€ 1,259,778.06).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Wood from the Sahara (Still Life with Cutting Board) von Claudio Bravo kam im Mai letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion.
