Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 329,00 (€ 550,52) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 65%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Claude Hayes erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Dutch fishing boats im März 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.680,00 (€ 6.120,01).
