In the British and Victorian Pictures auction, the work Dutch fishing boats sold for GBP 3,680.00 (€ 6,120.01) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 2,000.00. This high result makes Dutch fishing boats the most expensive artwork by Claude Hayes that we have observed at auctions so far.
