Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Figures Loading A Cart In A Landscape by Claude Hayes was auctioned at Christies in London in July 2006. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 540.00 (€ 790.50). Admittedly, works by Claude Hayes have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Dutch fishing boats in March 2000 with an auction result of GBP 3,680.00 (€ 6,120.01).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Figures Loading A Cart In A Landscape von Claude Hayes kam im Juli 2006 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 540,00 (€ 790,50) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Claude Hayes auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Dutch fishing boats im März 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.680,00 (€ 6.120,01).
