Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

It achieved a price of USD 2,375.00 (€ 2,185.31), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 19%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Clarence H. White achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Telegraph Poles in April 2008 with an auction result of USD 103,000.00 (€ 66,161.36).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Spring, 1898 von Clarence H. White kam im Februar 2016 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 2.375,00 (€ 2.185,31) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 19%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Clarence H. White erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Telegraph Poles im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 103.000,00 (€ 66.161,36).
