Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Pablo Picasso, 1881-1973 - Catalogue raisonné by Christian Zervos was auctioned at Christies in London in February 2012. It changed hands for a price of GBP 43,250.00 (€ 51,641.65) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 35,000.00 – 45,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Christian Zervos - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Pablo Picasso, 1895-1973, Catalogue Raisonné, which sold at auction in May 2011 for USD 170,500.00 (€ 118,600.45).

Die Arbeit Pablo Picasso, 1881-1973 - Catalogue raisonné von Christian Zervos kam im Februar 2012 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 43.250,00 (€ 51.641,65) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 35.000,00 – 45.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Christian Zervos mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Pablo Picasso, 1895-1973, Catalogue Raisonné beobachtet, die im Mai 2011 für USD 170.500,00 (€ 118.600,45) versteigert wurde.
