Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sunburned GSP #298 (SF/last day of Fall) by Chris McCaw was auctioned at Phillips in London in September 2020. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 4,375.00 (€ 4,824.15) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Chris McCaw have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October this year the work Sunburned GSP#206 (Mojave/Full Day) was auctioned for USD 9,525.00 (€ 9,013.06).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Sunburned GSP #298 (SF/last day of Fall) von Chris McCaw kam im September 2020 bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 4.375,00 (€ 4.824,15) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Chris McCaw konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Oktober diesen Jahres die Arbeit Sunburned GSP#206 (Mojave/Full Day) für USD 9.525,00 (€ 9.013,06) versteigert.
