Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sunburned GSP # 100 (Utah) by Chris McCaw was sold in the Photographs auction at Phillips in New York in October 2020. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 6,250.00 (€ 5,366.19) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Chris McCaw have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October this year the work Sunburned GSP#206 (Mojave/Full Day) was auctioned for USD 9,525.00 (€ 9,013.06).

Die Arbeit Sunburned GSP # 100 (Utah) von Chris McCaw wurde im Oktober 2020 in der Auktion Photographs bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 6.250,00 (€ 5.366,19) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
