Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Instant #1 by Chris McCaw was auctioned at Phillips in New York in April 2019. It changed hands for a price of USD 6,875.00 (€ 6,137.84) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Other works by Chris McCaw have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October this year the work Sunburned GSP#206 (Mojave/Full Day) was auctioned for USD 9,525.00 (€ 9,013.06).

Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 6.875,00 (€ 6.137,84) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00.
