In October 2021 Phillips in New York held the auction Photographs, which included the work Sunburned GSP #589 (Pacific Ocean) by Chris McCaw. The »bidding war« ended at USD 10,080.00 (€ 8,725.76), 44% above the upper estimate. Other works by Chris McCaw have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 9,525.00 (€ 9,013.06) in October this year for the work Sunburned GSP#206 (Mojave/Full Day).

Im Oktober 2021 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sunburned GSP #589 (Pacific Ocean) von Chris McCaw zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 10.080,00 (€ 8.725,76) und damit 44% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Chris McCaw haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von USD 9.525,00 (€ 9.013,06) im Oktober diesen Jahres für die Arbeit Sunburned GSP#206 (Mojave/Full Day) beobachtet.
