Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Chiyu Uemae was sold in the Asia+ / First Open auction at Christies in Hong Kong in March 2015. The price achieved of HKD 187,500.00 (€ 22,518.85) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 120,000.00 – 220,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chiyu Uemae achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in May 2018 with an auction result of HKD 2,980,000.00 (€ 325,578.41).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Chiyu Uemae wurde im März 2015 in der Auktion Asia+ / First Open bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 187.500,00 (€ 22.518,85) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 120.000,00 – 220.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chiyu Uemae erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.980.000,00 (€ 325.578,41).
