Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Work by Chiyu Uemae was sold in the Contemporary Art auction at Bonhams in Hong Kong in April 2021. It changed hands for a price of HKD 296,250.00 (€ 31,718.20) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 200,000.00 – 300,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chiyu Uemae achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in May 2018 with an auction result of HKD 2,980,000.00 (€ 325,578.41).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Work von Chiyu Uemae wurde im April 2021 in der Auktion Contemporary Art bei Bonhams in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 296.250,00 (€ 31.718,20) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 200.000,00 – 300.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chiyu Uemae erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.980.000,00 (€ 325.578,41).
