Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Young Man(Painted In 1994) by Qiu Yacai was sold in the Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art auction at China Guardian in Hong Kong in April 2018. The price achieved of HKD 1,062,000.00 (€ 112,057.98) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 900,000.00 – 1,500,000.00. Other works by Qiu Yacai have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2017 the work Model(Painted In 1993) was auctioned for HKD 1,534,000.00 (€ 168,834.82).

Die Arbeit Young Man(Painted In 1994) von Qiu Yacai wurde im April 2018 in der Auktion Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art bei China Guardian in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 1.062.000,00 (€ 112.057,98) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 900.000,00 – 1.500.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Qiu Yacai konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Oktober 2017 die Arbeit Model(Painted In 1993) für HKD 1.534.000,00 (€ 168.834,82) versteigert.
