In November 2010 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Modern Paintings, which included the work White Heron by Chen Yihang. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 162,500.00 (€ 16,055.54), 63% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Chen Yihang - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Eagle, which sold at auction in May 2011 for HKD 400,000.00 (€ 35,781.86).

Im November 2010 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Modern Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit White Heron von Chen Yihang zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 162.500,00 (€ 16.055,54) und damit 63% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Chen Yihang mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Eagle beobachtet, die im Mai 2011 für HKD 400.000,00 (€ 35.781,86) versteigert wurde.
