Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Daffodils by Chen Yihang was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Chinese Ink and Works on Paper auction at POLY in Hong Kong in October 2015. The price achieved of HKD 59,000.00 (€ 6,892.77) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 50,000.00 – 80,000.00. Admittedly, works by Chen Yihang have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Eagle in May 2011 with an auction result of HKD 400,000.00 (€ 35,781.86).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Daffodils von Chen Yihang wurde im Oktober 2015 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Chinese Ink and Works on Paper bei POLY in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 59.000,00 (€ 6.892,77) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 50.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Chen Yihang auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Eagle im Mai 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 400.000,00 (€ 35.781,86).
