Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2021 Christies held the auction Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online including the Collection of Sun Ah Book Center, which included the work Flower by Chen Yihang. The price achieved of HKD 50,000.00 (€ 5,663.54) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Admittedly, works by Chen Yihang have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Eagle in May 2011 with an auction result of HKD 400,000.00 (€ 35,781.86).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2021 führte Christies die Auktion Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online including the Collection of Sun Ah Book Center durch, in der auch die Arbeit Flower von Chen Yihang zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 50.000,00 (€ 5.663,54) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Chen Yihang auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Eagle im Mai 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 400.000,00 (€ 35.781,86).
