Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Vitamin Z No. 26 by Chen Wenbo was sold in the Contemporary Art | Hong Kong auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2020. The price achieved of HKD 16,250.00 (€ 1,913.51) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 10,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chen Wenbo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Chinesetest No.10 in October 2008 with an auction result of EUR 475,000.00.
