Auction result well in line with expectations
In November last year Bonhams in London held the auction The Astute EyeContemporary Art from a Private London Collector Online, which included the work Vitamin Z 41F by Chen Wenbo. The price achieved of GBP 1,275.00 (€ 1,477.43) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chen Wenbo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Chinesetest No.10 in October 2008 with an auction result of EUR 475,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in London die Auktion The Astute EyeContemporary Art from a Private London Collector Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Vitamin Z 41F von Chen Wenbo zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.275,00 (€ 1.477,43) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chen Wenbo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Chinesetest No.10 im Oktober 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 475.000,00.
