In November last year Bonhams in London held the auction The Astute EyeContemporary Art from a Private London Collector Online, which included the work Vitamin Z 33F by Chen Wenbo. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 2,295.00 (€ 2,659.38), 53% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chen Wenbo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Chinesetest No.10 in October 2008 with an auction result of EUR 475,000.00.
