Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work One Date No. 1, September 9 by Chen Wenbo was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2015. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 150,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 162,500.00 (€ 18,984.33). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chen Wenbo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Chinesetest No.10 in October 2008 with an auction result of EUR 475,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit One Date No. 1, September 9 von Chen Wenbo kam im Oktober 2015 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 150.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 162.500,00 (€ 18.984,33) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chen Wenbo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Chinesetest No.10 im Oktober 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 475.000,00.
